When I got my new MB I signed up for the free trial on .Mac, I don't really want all the services they offer as it doesn't appeal to me. But I do want to keep my @mac.com email address, Will they delete my @mac.com email address ofter the free trial period?

Thanks!

I believe so.
The @mac e-mail address is one of the perks of having a .Mac account

once your trial ends you can still use your .mac name for an iChat user name...it will always exist, but all other services will end.

Here's a better question. I haven't even used my .mac e-mail address yet for anything, yet I am already getting more junkmail than i get on my very used and old hotmail address. Where did they get my address?

You may have a username that was previously owned by someone else.

I've had .Mac for over 3 years and almost never get spam. My Gmail account, which I've had for just a couple of months, gets about 10 spam emails per day. Totally random crap.
