Mac Email

I'm having a hard time setting up Verizon email on Mac Mail.

When I try to send emails out, it won't let me. I am able to receive emails using POP format.

I tried using "outgoing.verizon.net" and "stmp.verizon.net" and both give me the same error message. Please help with any suggestions. Thanks

It should be SMTP, not STMP... Maybe that's your problem?

You might need to turn on Authentication for the outgoing server... It will be one of the options or advanced options in the account setup
