Mac essential accessories

Just got a new iMac and i was wondering what some accessories you need for your mac? I was thinking about a USB turntable and maybe some way to watch and record tv on it. Any ideas?

I like my EyeTV Hybrid for watching TV and playing games on my consoles. Costco also has some cheap USB turntables that work with GarageBand.

i would like to watch/record tv on my mac, convert vinyl to mp3, etc.
