.Mac expiry question

Ok, so I'm an idiot and this is a mess of my own making

My .Mac subscription expires on April 8 (this Sunday)

I knew this so I ordered a renewal code from amazon because it's $20 cheaper than renewing directly from apple.

So, I received the package from amazon last week but a didn't input the code because I figured I had plenty of time.

Of course, I forgot to do it, and I am now away from home until Sunday.

So, here's the question. When it says it expires Sunday, does it mean I'll still have access on Sunday but not on Monday, or does it mean I will lose access on Sunday. I guess what I am asking is, should I renew online before Sunday or will I be ok to wait till I get home Sunday night to use the renewal code I already have?

I think to renew it you have somewhat of a "grace period" (maybe I'm confusing this with AppleCare?).. don't quote me though. Still, the sooner the better.

Just make sure you havent set it to renew itself on your credit card that's all.
