I have a late 2015 Intel Mac I was hacked and a firmware lock was put on and have original receipt were not original but a copy of it took it to Apple and they cannot do nothing for me because they do not have the software for it anymore laugh out loud is there anything anybody can help me with? I'm struggling I need paperwork off this computer and I'm pulling tooth and nails.

Apple should be able to remove the firmware lock and erase the Mac. But “I need paperwork off this computer” implies that it’s the data you’re after, the firmware lock is simply the reason you can’t access it.

The simple answer is erase the computer and restore a backup. (Here’s the part where you say “but I don’t have a backup”)

There are data recovery specialists, and there might be options to remove the storage and connect it to a different computer (impossible with modern Macs, post 2018/2019, not sure about your 2015). Someone more familiar than me may chime in. I do hope you can recover the data.

Either way, consider this your “life lesson” and start backing up.

if it's a 2015 you can reflash the EFI chip I think, just need an SPI programmer. I even remember seeing a tiny device out of china that you just touch to the pins and reflashes for you without need to have break out cables.

But that's overkill if you just need data, you can get an SSD adapter. Apple uses proprietary ssd pin layout though, have to get the right one
