I don't know what it is about Flash, but every browser I've tried (Safari, Firefox, Camino, Gran Paradiso [Firefox 3 Alpha 7]) all become CPU hogs with Flash intensive pages. It's ridiculous. It's not just Tiger either. Leopard (dev preview) has the same problem. It's sluggish and I can't pinpoint the problem other than the Flash plugin. If I even switch tabs to a non-Flash intensive page, the CPU cycles drop and all is right again.

Most of the macromedia apps have always been windows first then quickly port a second-rate version to the mac.
