I'm looking for a new headset for my mac, I currently have a Logitech 350 USB headset but I find it very uncomfortable with bad sound quality.
If anyone has any suggestions I'd really appreciate it. :)

thanks in advance

I have a plantronics DSP-500 which I think cost 45 shipped from amazon. Not only is it incredibly comfortable, but it works driverless on tiger an xp (i've tested) and it plugs in with usb and has an inline mute and volume control buttons. I highly recommend it.

I bought the Microsoft LifeChat LX-3000 a couple of weeks ago for TeamSpeak. It's comfortable, sounds great and it works in Leopard after just plugging it in.

Have you used this with Leopard? It is only being reconized as a 16bit headphone. Sounds like crap.

Thanks,

Beau

Audio is generally 16-bit. You're expecting 32-bit upsamping interface on a budget headset? Dream on.

I doubt I'd be much help, since I've gone totally overkill for headset duty. But I have used a DSP-500 as well as it's folding relative before and they seem perfectly OK for headset duties.

In my less(!) over-overkill days I have combined an Audio-Technica ATH-D1000 with a Blue Mouse on the desk.
