Mac g4 powermac/10.4.11/toast and microphone issue

Hello all

I need some advice on how to fix a few problems I have after an upgrade

I have a G4 powermac and recently upgraded to os 10.4.11
but I cannot use the line in microphone I have to use Skype.

I also had a new cd writer fitted and am using Toast file name
Titanium5 final.sit_.bin

to burn music but when I am having problems understanding how to use this software and the computer doesn't seem to like it
