Ok,This is my first post here,I am an normal windows user,xp,vista,7,I just bought This model Mac G4
I want to add *some* ram(from 64mb to 1gb) and up grade it to OS X tiger,(As i understand that it is not as processor intensive)
All i want to do is:
  • Run safari 3 on a high speed cable internet
  • Run an IRC client.
  • use small apps.
I just want an stable, non windows,OS X computer capable of high speed internet usage.
Is this possible?

Thanks for the fast response how bad do you think that will be,Also I understand that my model was the last of a line capable of non-intensive over clocking,I know you will probably laugh, but this G4 I just bought, was fully functional, for a buck!, I'm not really losing much in the over clock.

I don't know anything about overclocking Macs, but online videos will probably be pretty abysmal.

The cheaper method would be buy a emac or a cheap G4. You can buy a 1ghz G4 for $100 these days.

Either look on your local craigslist or maybe ebay, but i would stick with buying local.
