Hi all, I have just bought a Mac G5 1.6

http://www.everymac.com/systems/apple/powermac_g5/specs/powermac_g5_1.6.html

and I was thinking to add a Airport Extreme card to have WIFI connection
I was looking for this card on Ebay and I found the following link

http://www.ebay.com/itm/Apple-A1026...ok-PowerMac-/301430555185?hash=item462ea94231

note from seller:
Not Compatible with Powermac G5 Late 2005 model

not all the sellers put this notice, so Im not sure if the next cheap seller that I will pick will put this info, the card may have this same incompatibility issue but the seller did not put this information or doesnt know about this.

Should I search for a specific part number for this model?

Thanks a lot for any advice on this.

That card will work, there are guides on how to put it in. Note that the card is limited to wireless g(I believe) so speeds and connectivity will be slower. You also will need the airport antenna. There is a workaround using a paper clip. There are also guides on this
