My internal DVD/CD burner in my G5 has slowed to 5 times the normal speed while I was burning/writing. I also have an external DVD/CD burner; now, it takes 1 hour and fifteen minutes to burn a movie using my internal DVD/CD burner vs only fifteen minutes burning the same movie using the external DVD/CD burner. Please advice if slowing is a sign of impending death for my internal DVD/CD burner. If there is way to fix it, please also kindly advice.
