Mac Game changes my desktop wallpaper 27 inch

Dear People,

I'm from the old generation and I really like to play the game Age of Mythology.
It's and old game and I bought a legal one from MacSoft.
Since two days the game is automatically changing my wallpaper to the default one when I'm quitting the game.
It does it now every time and I tried to reset it and I did an Apple Hardware test but nothing seems te help. The iMac is 3 months old and in the beginning I did a clean install. All other programs run fine.
My question is, does anyone know how to fix this?
And what could suddenly change my wallpaper after quitting the game?

Hey! Im not from the "Old generation" but I LOVE age of mythology.

My wallpaper changes as well!

Theres nothing wrong with the computer itself.

Im not sure but I believe our wallpapers are changing because the game is so old, that it uses very small resolutions so the mac is changing our wallpapers when the resolution changes!

Its not a big deal, the computer is fine, its just a little annoying though

Hopefully well find some sort of fix!
