I want to begin making games for the mac,NOT THE iPhone. Could someone get me started with books or resources. I have experience in Visual Basic.net and RealBASIC.
Thanks in advance!

First of all, learn C. I suggest you to read a book called The C Programming Language. Then learn Objective-C. The best Objective-C book I know is called Cocoa Programming for Mac OS X. Then read a book about creating game engines. I suggest Pangea Software’s Ultimate Game Programming Guide for Mac OS X.

They can be bought on Amazon, except by Pangea Software’s Ultimate Game Programming Guide for Mac OS X that can be downloaded for free from the author's website.
