Hi i got a iBook G4 but starts going really slow.
i try to do a Disk Utility but doesnt let me clean and give me an error.
what can i do?:confused:

some errors you need to click repair disk to fix. The only way you can do that is to insert your OS X cd that came with your ibook (cd.1) and hold down option when you restart your ibook. Boot from the CD (this way it isn't booting off your main and only hdd therefore it can repair any errors on the drive head) I had to do this with my ibook once and basically: when you boot off the cd, it opens the installer. you choose teh language and then it will have your apple finder bar on the top. And i think it is something called utilities or advanced or somethign on the taskbar on the top and you click on it and it will show the application disk utility and you run disk utility off teh CD and you select your ibook's hdd and then click repair disk.
