My new 2012 27 inch iMac with 1TB Fusion Drive could install Bootcamp and run Windows 7. In OS X I can also read the Bootcamp drive. However both in Bootcamp and VMWare I can't read the Macintosh HD at all. In Windows' device manager though I can see the Apple HDD and SSD.

Anyone else has the same problem? My Macbook Air can perfectly read Mac HD from the PC side.

I have a theory: Bootcamp can't read because Fusion Drive's method of operating means files are scattered all over the HDD and SSD, so Windows can't read them unless specialized drivers are used...

I think you're right.
Bootcamp software need to be updated to support this...
