Mac.HD lost space with no reason.Now increasing

hi . My Macintosh HD did something weird .

last night i deleted some lorge files and from 100 i had 160gb free .

today the imac became unresponsive and i saw that the disk space was 90gb free ! . no way !

then it started to increase without doing nothing . it is 137 now . i did not do anything !

seems like it solved itself .

i 'm still not saying Solved until i find what caused that
