So I wanna back up some of my files online (in case of a fire or in case I want to access them remotely). That's all I'd use a .Mac/iDisk account for. But I've already got my own domain and hosting package that I use to FTP stuff via Transmit (which I LOVE), but I've just been using that for some projects that I' working on with other people. My question is this: if I just want to backup some personal files, should I just stick with the FTP stuff or is there something special about the security of .Mac/iDisk that I'd gain? Also, I don't know too much about this stuff, but if I just only allow owner permissions to the files (not group or users), are they secure? Thanks.
