Hi!

I'm a relatively new Mac iBook user and am wondering if there is a way to hook up my iBook to my TV to watch say DVD or streaming video from the Internet. What would I need in terms of cable (hardware) or software to make this happen?

Thanks!!

Your model should have S-Video/composite video out built-in. You have to get an Apple adaptor. On my PowerBook, there is a nine pin S-Video port, though I don't know what the iBook has in terms of ports, if it's the newest iBooks, I'll guarantee you it has the capacity at least.

thanks..

Thanks for the info. I just checked the user manual that came with my iBook G4 and ur right- it does have the capability. I need to get a video Adaptor. Now if only my TV was a bit modern!!!!
