Mac inspired Drobo at MWSF?

Just got this email from Data Robotics. (see attachment)


I have been waiting for a Drobo NAS to be released and am looking forward to see what they have to offer. It sounds like it could be a product that is a bit more Mac inspired or at the very least a new cheaper version with more features.

I got this today too.

I'd like to get one but I'm waiting for Firewire 800 at least. I only have 1 Mac so that would do me just fine.

I think we will see NAS before we see FW800. They had a survey awhile back and I think most people asked for NAS.

Exactly. Add FW800 to it, and I'm sold. Completely.

That is pretty awesome. If they put something else than USB on it, I will probably look into 1 or 2 of these.
