Mac Instant Messenger with webcam capabilities?

Hey so I've downloaded MSN for mac and just realised it doesn't do video, I realise that they're tryin to work on that, anyone know of a release date?
For the moment does anyone know of a good program like MSN that will let me use video?

I use snow leopard btw if that helps..

use aMSN. It's fugly, but it supports webcam and mic usage.

aMSN, or Adium with a certain plugin...

As for the release date... it's been a year since they promised to deliver a beta "soon"... they just said it would be available in march, but you must take it with a grain of salt...

Just use Skype for Mac. You could also try Sightspeed, but Skype is so popular.

hmmm after my initial excitement i realise that when i try to open webcam chats it says connecting...... then cancels them. Anyone ever had problems with it? Maybe is it the other person?

Use the MeBeam plugin.

Do yourself a favor and get off the MSN mentality. Use something like Skype that won't give you headaches.
