I have an iPhone and a Mac. Something i've been wondering for a while/would like to have is a way to send and receive SMS messages on my computer. Not sure if this would be possible from the iPhone, or whether something else can make it possible. Even being able to see and read the SMS on the Mac is a start.

Thanks in advance, i hope someone knows of this if its possible.

Note: iPhone is jailbroken

you could use a VNC application such as Chicken of the VNC. That would allow you to access your iphone from your computer via you're wifi network

I could use that although i found screen refresh rate was rather low. I would also prefer to have a different interface for messages, rather than the actual iPhone one. I can live with it as a last resort though.

That doesn't support SMS for the iPhone as the iPhone doesn't give access to SMS over bluetooth.
