Ok so first there was the mac, then the iPod, and now the iPhone. What do you guys think there next "big" release will be?

The Apple car!
Available in Silver, White or, for an extra cost, Black

Yeah, but the macbook is already in their product line. That would be like the touch, it's an iPod after all...

oh then i'll change the name ultra-portable thing that does things, many things and even faster when you upgrade the ram. :p

Maybe they'll go back to Printers?? or remake the ipod Hi-Fi ??

TVs. I mean, wouldn't it rock for them to be able to say 'OK, Apple TV...do you want an Apple TV too? Um....'

I think you could probably just look at Sony (the company Steve Jobs seems to have modeled Apple after in recent years) and see future products:

They've already got:

• Computers

• MP3 Players

• Mobile Phones

• Digital Recorders

• LCD Displays

That leaves:

• Digital Cameras

• Camcorders

• Printers

• Video Game Consoles

• GPS

• Stereos

• Voice Recorders

• Televisions

I could *easily* see any of these being released by Apple.

• Digital Cameras <--- as mentioned, tried that in the 90's

• Camcorders

• Printers <--- used to make them, but I think the realized they can't charge their normal profit when third party companies are selling so cheap.

• Video Game Consoles <--- tried that as well in the 90's

• GPS <--- I see this integrated into the iPhone

• Stereos <--- Isn't the Hi-Fi a stereo?

• Voice Recorders <----seems like a simple software add-on for the iPod/iPhone

• Televisions <----I'd like to see them build a TV with AppleTV functions built-in. I'm not sure I would want to pay Apple's premium price though.

The next thing I would like to see them work on is expanding the AppleTV. It has so much potential and is only missing a few features to really make it take off; HD content, some type of DVR ability, able to stream to it from iPhone/iPod.

You could be right, it does has some sense, but I still don't see Apple doing theese things, it just feels wierd, but after the renaming this could be a fact.

One thing to cosider is just because Apple's tried digital cameras and printers in the past and stopped making them doesn't mean they'll never attempt it again.

They had the Newton, afterall, and now we have the iPod Touch and perpetual rumors of a PDA...

Something new that none of us will ever think of (or if we do and mention it here, Apple will stop development of it)

I just remembered, wasn't there that whole Asteroid thing, the music recording device, similar to a Digi Box? I remember there being rumors a while back and Apple telling websites to remove pictures.
