Mac iPod on windows

I am selling my 10gb gen 2 iPod (stationary scroll wheel) in order to buy a 20gb 'cause i am running out of room. The guy I am selling it to is a windoze user, and I need to know if my mac ipod will work on his system. When I bought the iPod, there was 2 different versions (mac, pc)

Will it work? If so, how do I set it up for windoze?

You can not set up a Windows iPod from Mac.
The buyer needs to run the iPod Update 2004-04-28 on his computer to format it with the FAT32 filesystem!

The latest iPod updater supports all iPod and iPod mini models..
