I have Mac OSX snow leopard and i did a partitioning using boot camp to install windows xp sp2 pro, everything worked very well until i decided to remove the partitioning. However, i did a mistake by formatting windows xp partition and used it as Time machine back up. Now i can't remove time machine back up and join it with the original Mac OSx HDD. This is the message i get when i try to join the partitioning back again using boot camp ( you can see it in the image that I've attached).

Any help on how to i join the partitions back again?

OMG i can't believe it was that easy !!!

basically i have to format my second partition to FAT system then use boot-camp to join them.

Problem solved :)

Does formatting alto kills the battery or makes the laptop worse?
