Mac Keyboard Vol up/down stopped working??

Hi Guys


I have an iMac07 running on windows XP since new. Been working fine till a couple of days ago when i lost control of all the function buttons (ie no vol up/down, brightness etc) and no eject.

I noticed the IR remote control volume function stopped working too.

I have been toying with airplay on itunes lately as i got a pioneer network speaker.

I went to bootcamp preferences and the boxes are unticked for the IR remote and to use the Function buttons as proper F1-F12. When i tick the box the Funtion buttons work properly as standard windows ones.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

same for me running windows 8.1, they do not work if that option is not ticked, if I tick it they work if I hold the FN key

But it's been working fine for years!! What changed? I didn't update any drivers or anything. Actually are there new drivers to try?
