When you are sitting at your own computer desk with external monitor connected, which screen do you set as the main monitor by going to Displays Preferences > Arrangement and dragging the menu bar? The main monitor is the one that shows the login screen, desktop icons and dock by default. The laptop screen or the external monitor? Or you use the laptop with the screen closed?
