The menus in some of my apps appear in a foreign font that looks like Hebrew. The main applications affected are iTunes, Camino and Firefox. I run Appleworks 6 under Leopard as well with no problems except that the find/change menus also shows this unintelligible font. Do I need to change the default viewing font in these apps, and if so how? Could the problem be due to the fact I have a Japanese ISP (Yahoo Japan) but run an English OS?

Dodgy fonts

Since posting the above, I discovered the problem was caused by a corrupt font/fonts. Using Font Finagler, I simply deleted all the damaged fonts and voila - problem solved.
