Mac Mail address order

Hello,
iMac 2012, Yosemite 10.10.3 Mac Mail query.

I use group emails a lot.
When I load a group, the email addresses appear to me no special order.
I expect them to load alphbetically - too simplistic?

I can see no pattern at all.
Its NOT a problem but anyone any idea why they appear in a random order?
