I downloaded a program called httpmail_tiger_universal to my computer to enable me to use hotmail through my mac mail, but aside from the fact that it didnt work... it also freezes my mac mail everytime i open it and i have to force quit it. the reason it freezes it is because there is a popup that comes up that says - "httpmail plugin update available version 1.52 of is now available from www.automagic-software.com" Does anyone know how i can get rid of this popup, and how i can use hotmail from my mac mail? thanks heaps!

Get the new version, install it, then set it up. I've used it for a few years and love httpmail. Your problem may be caused by trying to run the Tiger version on Leopard, but there is now a Leopard Version.
