.Mac mail down since early this morning...

I know they do routine maintenance, sometimes at night, less often during the day, but .Mac mail has been down since early this morning, at least 4-5 hours now, at least as far as email is concerned (I can still view my webpage and the .Mac homepage). All other services seem to be running. I guess it's too much to hope that this might be indicative of Apple updating anything today.

Does the dotmac webmail work? Or just dotmac via mail.app?

I am also having problems with .Mac mail. It was ok some minutes ago.

good point, i tested only dotmac via firefox from work. and that did work flawlessly.

After I posted this, I checked again and it had an orange light next to Mail, and below said that something like 4% of users were affected by troubleshooting. A while later it came back online.
