Mac Mail, Entourage, no right click?

i love my new mac, but when using either entourage or macmail, you cannot simply right-click an attachment in an email and copy it, why the heck not?! you can right click it and there all kinds of other options that require two or 3 more moves than necessary to copy the attachment. it is such a convenient task being able to right click then copy something. what gives?
