Help me, please!

I don't know how and I don't know why, but randomly the Mail application on my Macbook laptop stopped sending emails. I'm connected to the internet (obviously...) and able to receive emails, but it puts any messages that I'm trying to send in the Outbox folder. I did a test and sent an email to my other email address and sure enough, nothing sent.

Why? What happened? How can I fix it? All I wanna do is send a friggin' email! Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you

There's something probably wrong with your outgoing mail server. Go to the Window menu at the top menubar and select "Connection Doctor". That will give you an idea on what's wrong.
