After this cluster**** of an OSX update that broke mail and gsuite, I know they fixed the main issue, but for me there is another issue which is that all my gsuite accounts constantly go offline.

If my mail is idle for about 20 minutes every account gets the lightning bolt. Clicking 'take all accounts online' does nothing.

The only solution is to completely quit mac mail and re-open it... which is infuriating.

I have heard a solution is to add gmail as "other mail" but I don't know if that works with 2FA and I also know it won't sync calendar etc.... so that isn't a good solution.

Has anyone else figured this out?

I have the same issue! My main email (corporate) works fine; but gmail and yahoo email will be offline. Now .. hint (but it is only a workaround)... I ran ONYX and rebuilt the Mailbox, and on the reboot everything would go online. BUT the next time I shut down the iMac and reboot, the same 'offline' character appears (including iCloud email on my Apple Mail app incidentally). I would love to figure out how to resolve this; but clearly it's in the OS or App somehow, or ONYX would be able to repair it. But I do not want to have to run it every day!
