I just got my MBP a week ago and I am trying to get my mail account setup. I am using comcast internet services and I can send messages but I can not receive them. I setup an Imap account but it says port 993 timed out. Sorry for the noob question.

What port does comcast recommend using? There may be another one that you're not using...
Do you still have your old computer to compare settings against?
Well normally I use the comcast email from their website so I guess I will do a little research to see what I can do to fix it.
