I have tried and tried and cannot get Mail to communicate with my POP server. I can log into the mail server over the web with the exact same ID and password but when I try to retrieve mail with mac mail it says the mail server has rejected the password for my account. I tried changing the password, didn't change a thing. Strange thing is that I have another account, same POP server that is working with Mac Mail. Is there a limit on the number of mailboxes that Mac Mail can handle? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

If you haven't already, try entering your entire email address in Mail as your POP account's user name, instead of just the part to the left of the @ sign.

Tried that a couple of times

I have tried that as well. I just retried and same result. Very frustrating. I set up another mail box with another server and it is working fine. So now I have three mailboxes working but not my main box. Any other ideas?

Thanks for the help
