Mac Mail not searching properly

Hey there,

I just synced all my emails into mac mail after using Sparrow for a long time. I am having problems with the search function.

I can see messages in my inbox, but when I search in the top right corner of the app, it doesn't pull up all of the emails. For example, I may have 40 messages from "cody" that I can see in my inbox, but when I search "cody" it only pulls up about 8 or 9 messages.

I don't have any of the messages filed in folders and none have labels.

I am running Snow Leopard and the latest version of Mac Mail if that helps.
