Mac Mail Rebuild Deleted All Google Mail on Three Accounts

I rebuilt my mailboxes as my mail searches were coming up empty. When the rebuild was complete, all mail from three Google accounts were deleted locally and on the server.

Any idea how to get these back? How did this happen?
