I need to convert a few of my Mac Mail mailboxes to a format readable/importable into Windows Outlook. Does anyone know how to do this? I've tried archiving to mbox format in Mac and opening on PC, but no success.

I can't help, but as a word of advice to anyone else:

This is why you should make sure all your Mail Accounts are IMAP and stored on the server.

It avoids hassles like this.

Actually, mine are IMAP and stored on the server. How would this make things easier?

If everything is on the server than outlook would connect to the server the exact same way as you do on the mac. That's what IMAP is designed to accomplish.

i understand that. trouble is, i don't want to give access to all my email. just selected folders (and their contents).

If you moved all the messages you wanted to "share" into the Inbox, had whoever is on the other end download them, then move them back to the original folder, you could do it that way. It's a little clumsy, but better than nothing.

Just subscribe to the folders you want then. Outlook will handle it. It's dead easy really.
