I have been using the mac for little over 4 weeks now, however I have noticed when work emails come through, which is on Exchange. They come instantly onto the iphone and iPad. However the mail app on my macbook pro can take up to 1 minute after receiving them on the iOS devices.
Is there a setting which I can alter, or just except it is like this.

Thanks

I'm on Exchange too (hosted) and I also have a Win7 VM running all the time in Parallels that runs Windows Outlook 2010. I also have an iPhone. They are all connected to Exchange.

Windows Outlook usually pings first, iPhone a few seconds later and Mail up to 2 mins after that. I've just got used to it - an email can wait 2 minutes.

(before anyone asks why I have Outlook running at the same time as Mail, I much prefer Outlook's calendar to iCal and I get PC Outlook included with my Microsoft Action Pack subscription, so I am loathe to pay a significant amount just to have Mac Outlook)
