mac mail will not open emails created in outlook

I just purchased my first IMac 21.5". I am having problems with opening some emails that were created in outlook express. When I try to open them it asks what program to use to open it. When I check the propertys of the atachment it says the file type is .email- I called tech support and they had no Idea what I was talking about. Please help and thanks in advance.

Mail doesn't open .email files.

IIRC, I did a google search on ways around this recently. My wife received something from Outlook and found a conversion site availale on the web. Try google on the file type.

I tried a google search before and didnt come up with anything. Let me know what the name of the program your wife found is.
