I used to use Sparrow on my home and work computers for gmail, but it recently stopped working or working sporadically, so I switched at work to using Mac Mail (I already used it for my work exchange account). However when I try to add the gmail account at home (also setup with my work exchange account) Mac Mail just spins and spins attempting to contact imap.gmail.com and eventually times out. I know that my address and password are correct (I've tried it multiple times). Both work and home are running Lion. The gmail web client works fine.
Does anybody have any ideas?

Never mind, I had Sparrow running. When I closed that and attempted to create the account Mac Mail found it right away.
