Hi, I was just wondering if there was a way in Mac Mail to get a notification when someone you have sent an email to has read it?
 
Some email client apps can send a receipt but the recipient would have to have it turned "on" for you to get the receipt. It's basically out of your hands.

There are other ways to find out if you want to go to a lot of trouble.
