Mac Mail

I use the mail program for three accounts, two imap and one pop. On occasion when I'm sending mail it will say I'm actually sending out more then what I'm sending. Then when downloading sometimes it was say for example I'm getting 8 messages when I only get one. There's no "junk mail" folder so what's going on? Do I have some sort of virus? Is this a mail issue?

Mine does that too, but usually when it's syncing with my account.

Mine too. I can only assume that a copy of everything I send and receive is going straight to Homeland Security.
