Mac messages issue - can't send photos, occasional imessage to android phones

Hey, all. Having a couple issues with the messages app on my MBP.

1) I'm no longer able to send photos via messages - it just gives me the blue progress bar for a long time, then eventually fails.

2) Occasionally, messages to android phones will be sent via imessage (blue box, "imessage with..."), which are not received.

Any thoughts on either?

I use messages a lot to communicate with customers ( direct contact and fantastic quick history - no searching) - started having all kinds of problems till I upgraded icloud storage ( was maxed out just on iMessage storage - pictures - docs etc.)

After upgrade all is good - might be worth checking your iCloud storage capacity

Checked, and I have lots of storage available. Thanks, though.
