mac messenger help

i was running mac messenger just fine earlier, i've since restarted my ibook and now it won't work. it opens up and then just goes off and something pops up saying about it quitting unexpectedly.

i've restarted a couple of times, redownloaded it and even tried downloading an older version, but nothing will work!!!!!!!

Use a program like AppDelete http://versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/31123 to delete Microsoft Messenger. AppDelete will delete all files associated with Messenger, and those files are likely causing your problem. Then reinstall Messenger.
