Just recently (last couple of weeks or so), whenever I sign in to Mac Messenger I get a lot of pop-up windows, notifying me that every single contact online has just signed in, when they haven't! It's incredibly annoying as sometimes it can be 20-30 pop-ups a time!
I've attached a screen shot to show exactly the issue. It'd be interesting to understand why this is happening, especially since there's been no updates to the app and I haven't changed any of the preferences!
