So after getting my rMBP, my Mac Mini is almost unbearably slow in comparison, so I'm looking into memory and SSD upgrades for it. I already upgraded the hard drive once and I'm comfortable prying it open.

I found 2 x 4GB memory from Kingston and an Intel 520 120GB SSD. I'm pretty sure that there shouldn't be any issues with either of these two products, but I just wanted to make sure I'm not missing anything before putting down the cash. ;)

Anyone have experience with these two products, ideally with a Mac Mini 2009?

Get either Crucial or OWC memory.

SSD is fine, if you can afford more, put 250gb in it. OCZ and Crucial are also great brands for SSDs
