Mac mini 2010 2.4 cursor disappears

Can't remember just when this cursor problem began, but it is annoying. The cursor recognizes the left, top and bottom boarders, but disappears when it moves to the right side of the screen. My 2009 Mini does not have a problem. There must be a setting I'm missing. How do I set the right hand side boarder?
