I plan on using my new Mac mini (2012)with my TV via the HDMI input for the time being, and eventually dual screening with a new HDMI TV and a PC monityor.. but I've read about the issues using the HDMI output can bring. What would be the best workaround to get it to display correctly using the Mini's HDMI output and a standard HD TV?
What adapters would I need to do use both an HDMI TV and a PC monitor with DVI/VGA inputs?
What is currently the best solution when using an HDMI only screen?
From what I can see I would need this kind of setup:
HDMI out --> HDMI input on TV
Mini Displayport out --> MDP to VGA/DVI Adapter --. Monitor VGA/DVI Input on Monitor.
But what would my options be if the HDMI to HDMI connection is poor with the TV? I have seen people use DVI adapters with HD TV's in order to get them to display correctly.. but I'm a bit confused by the process?
Does this mean using a HDMI out to DVI cable adapter in the Mac Mini, then using a second HDMI (male) to DVI (Female) adapter in the TV?
Thanks
