hi I need a hand I own a mac mini with hd6630 not working you can disable it as you do with the macbook of the same year with broken vga

I think these forums need a tiny bit more information.
- You're saying it is not working: Is it not booting up, do you get any kind of error symbol or message?
- What do you want to disable? The GPU, the Mac itself?

The 2012 Mac mini didn't have Radeon HD 6630M. That was the 2011 model...

Your options seems to be:

1. Reflow the chip (temporary fix - You cannot do that yourself and it will mostly work for some months and that is, maybe a year)

2. Replace logic board (buy second hand) -> it can fail again

3. Buy a new computer (most expensive)

Sadly you're between a rock and a hard place ;-{ Reflowing or reballing doesn't fix things. Replacing the GPU is your only option in saving your logic board. Not may people have the right gear to do this. Replacing the logic board I think is a good option but it will also limit you! You see...

You can try do disable the Radeon and use the Intel HD 3000.

The mac mini 2012 has the Intel HD 4000.
